By

January 24, 2008

Lieutenant Governor Bill Bolling confirmed today that he will do a live blog interview here somewhere after “crossover,” the midway point during the General Assembly where the House and Senate must be done with bills originating in their respective chambers and send all passed bills to each other. When we get the date and other details pinned down we will post them immediately. Get your questions ready.

Also of note concerning Lieutenant Governor Bolling and blogging, he will host his Second Annual Bloggers Day at the State Capitol, Wednesday, January 30. He has cordially invited us and we will report the highlights. Very much looking forward to it and thank you, LG, for the invite!

  1. The Ghost of Patrick Henry says:

Bill Bolling is awesome. He can stick it to the crazy liberals like Leslie Byrne, Brian Moran and Tommy Norment.

I want to know what his strategy is to win the Governor’s mansion and eventually, the Presidency of the United States. Or maybe the US Senate… he could take down Webb, right?

  2. Ben says:

He’ll have to get by “fightin” Bob McDonnell first. Bob is in good position to win the nomination and lead us to victory in ’09.

  3. The Ghost of Patrick Henry says:

Hopefully, Bolling can explain his legislative strategy in contrast with McDonnell’s jihad towards phosphate-free dishwashing detergent and the “Go-green School Amendment.” Clearly, these are major legislative priorities for conservatives statewide.

  4. Social Conservative says:

both mcdonnell and bolling are perfect examples of republican cowardace. their agendas are void of any original thought or true importance, just like the entire republican party of virginia. dishwasher detergent? are you serious bob?

the party needs new leaders and new ideas. unless that happens, we can get ready to welcome the new democrat majority in the commonwealth. it wasn’t earned, it was more like filling a void.

  5. Ben says:

The Attorney General’s agenda is pretty impressive this year, especially since he’s been busy dealing with real issues, like rulings on Dogfighting, Firearms and Elections. He is the clear choice for Governor in 2009… he has the administrative experience plus the conservative bent needed to win a convention.

  6. The Ghost of Patrick Henry says:

If sticking it to the Governor and holding him true to his campaign promises is “Republican cowardice” then I guess Bill Bolling is about as yellow as they come.

If by “Republican Cowardice” you mean “Standing tall in the pocket and avoiding the sack while the liberal pass-rush swarms all around you” then William Troy Bolling is your man. He’s the Tom Brady of Lt. Governors!
