When you say “bring a pro-God” agenda do you mean the God of retribution, vengeance and EXclusion or the God of peace, forgiveness and INclusion? Both are reflected in the Bible. Christian conservatives choose to emphasize the former and liberal Christians choose to emphasize the latter. One is no more Christian than the other and that’s precisely why the founding fathers, Christian though they may have been, wisely chose to omit any reference to “Christian” or “Christianity” in our Constitution. You can be sure I will be reminding my state representatives that the FF’s effort to make our state more pleasing to God is totally subjective.
