It’s been absolutely astounding to me that therehas beennary a speaker (no pun intended) to address theconvention about the House of Delegates campaigns. That’s a first in my ever-increasing memory of conventions.

Bill Stanley gives a rousing speech for unity and purpose; moves Pat Mullins wins by acclimation.

Muldoon, Foster and Brownlee give very gracious and unifying concession speeches.

That Ken Cuccinelli has won the AG nomination on the first ballot. Also on the rumor mill is that Pat Mullins won. Lt. Governor Bill Bolling also seems certain of renomination.

It seems Mullins has this. Ironic: The older guy (Mullins) is more energetic, passionate and aggressive than the younger guy (Stanley). Mullins gets big applause lines attacking liberal media and saying, “I’d rather read conservative bloggers than the Washington Post!”… Read more>
