Since Governor Tim Kaine still refuses to acquiece to a Freedom of Information Act request as to his travels as Democrat National Committee chairman, while managing yet another wrong revenue projection (on the short end, again), I suppose this is the only way to track where he’s been:

If Governor Kaine was an ultra-conservative Republican Governor, a puppet of the so-called Religious Right who also served as the Republican National Committee chairman does anyone believe the Family Foundation would be demanding to know where Governor Kaine was and demanding to know how he’s spending our tax dollars? The Family Foundation reflects hypocrisy personified.
Mark – You’e a genious, man! You can read people’s minds! You put out your own hypothetical and then answer it with BIG assumptions. How do you know? How can you say? Conservative groups are pretty principled — Club For Growth, for example, as well as National Taxpayers Union and Americans For Tax Reform — all criticize Repubs for overspending. Never hear that about Dems from Move On. I imagine FF would do the same. In fact, they’ve criticized Va. Senate Repubs MANY times as well as the House leadership on the defunding Planned Parenthood issue and others.
But in this case, there doesn’t have to be a hypothetical. Gov. Gilmore WAS the RNC chairman and there was NONE of this travel controversy, nor a question about accounting of spending for his security. So maybe you need to re-evaluate your assumption: A Repub. gov. WOULDN’T do such a thing to begin with, so there would be no reason to complain!
BTW, your hypothetical uses the scenario of an “ultra-conservative” governor, so by comparison, you are admitting Kaine is an “ultra-liberal” and a “puppet of socialist secular special interests”?
