2010 Down, 2012 To Go

By

The 2010 mid-term elections weren’t a day old when the Republican Party of Virginia  launched a new Web site targeting the 2012 campaign of U.S. Senator Jim Webb and to flip the commonwealth’s electoral votes back to the red column after a 40 year streak was interrupted in 2008. It’s called ObamaAndWebbAreNext.com. While it is true that this past election is only a first phase of a two-part cycle needed to restore limited constitutional government, it’s also true Virginia faces important legislative elections next year for the House of Delegates and the Virginia Senate, no to mention two special elections late this year or early 2011. The electorate probably needs a bit of a respite, then first things first.
