Pastors For Family Values invites you to be . . .
Salt and Light in the Public Square
Should Christians influence their government for good?
Does a Biblical worldview lead to a conservative or liberal position?
Why should it matter to me as a pastor anyway?
The Family Foundation and Pastors For Family Values will present several Pastor Briefings across the state this summer and fall to address these and many more questions about the role of the church and civil government. We are excited to present Dr. Wayne Grudem, Research Professor at Phoenix Seminary and author of Politics According to the Bible and Lt. General Jerry Boykin (U.S. Army, Ret.), ordained minister, former commander of the U.S. Army Delta Force and author of Never Surrender: A Soldier’s Journey To The Crossroads Of Faith And Freedom, as they present information that will both inspire and motivate you to make a difference in the culture around you.
These events are free to pastors and breakfast or lunch will be provided. Please mark your calendars and save the date for the location nearest you. Contact Roger Pogge at 804-343-0010 or roger@familyfoundation.org for details or to RSVP.

So the FF wants to explore whether a Biblical worldview leads to a conservative or liberal position. Does it occur to them that Christians who embrace a more liberal theology have a liberal Biblical worldview and Christians who embrace a conservative theology have a conservative Biblical worldview? The FF and the religious right always use language that suggests that the only true Biblical worldview is a conservative one. Accordingly, conservatives are “Christians” and liberals are, well, simply liberals, secularists, leftists, socialists…..anything but Christians!
On the part of the FF this signifies either total ignorance or, worse yet, they know full well many Christians are liberals but they are pandering to their ignorant supporters.
