When I gave a speech outside of my office in Richmond about the real liberal war on women and family values, liberals showed up and protested. While protests or even personal attacks from the Left don’t bother me — I actually expect them — their plans were far more sinister.
In the video below, you’ll see the liberal activists tried to shout loud enough so no one in the audience could hear what I was saying. This should be a wake-up call to all Virginians about the direction our state is heading. The last thing the Left wants is for people to hear our ideas.
Our liberty depends on free speech and I take this attack on spreading our message seriously, as I know you do as well. Rest assured that they will never keep me quiet when our freedom is at stake — for families and for Virginia. Please watch this shocking video and tell me what you think in the comment section.

Victoria Cobb, Thank you for what you do. Thank God he gave you the gift of courage and the knowledge of the source of strength to stand up to what is so terribly wrong. We pray for you and what the Family Foundation of Virginia is doing. Our society and our country, from local, state, and national is on a very wrong path and the only correction is to turn around and get back on the path that can be none other than finding ourselves on our knees, repenting and praying for for forgivness. Getting back on the path upon which this country was established.

The liberals are starting to remind me of the Nazi Brown Shirts and the Chinese “Red Guard” people of years ago. If they want to be scary, they surely are and need to stop it. Somebody needs to introduce them to the Bill of Rights which includes(so far at least) FREEDOM OF SPEECH!
Please get a bigger amplifier that can be automatically adjusted to overcome the background noise. You should not have to shout in order to have your message heard.

Thank you for standing firm. As a previous volunteer at a christian crisis pregnancy center I can attest to the benefits of sharing the gospel and providing ultrasounds to women who are thinking of abortion. To most women seeing their unborn child moving about in their womb answers the question of life as it should for all including abortion doctors.
Actually, Victoria, I was kinda surprised when they actually passed Conservative laws, too. They’re usually too gutless to do that.
I’m sure when the opposition has their news conferences, they won’t mind pro-lifers showing up and challenging their speakers. Right!
Does the loudness of their attempt to silence free speech have direct proportion to the weakness of their argument?

I agree with Mrs. Cobb 100% and she really carried it out with patience and grace. It is too bad there was not someone present for our side with a big poster featuring the verse from Proverbs 6:16-17 which makes it clear that God hates hands that shed innocent blood. As a predominantly Christian nation, we should not sanction or subsidize that crime against humanity, either. To the “my body” argument demonstrator it could be said that one body does not have 2 blood types, two genders or outgrow itself as is seen of a pregnant woman carrying a baby boy with the father’s blood type, so clearly there is more than one body involved in the situation and that other life deserves protection under the law.
Paternal grandparents tried to force me to have an abortion of my first child – I’m so grateful the Lord intervened having graphic literature sent to me by a right to life group so that I could not be deceived. That precious daughter is now due to turn 40 this September, married and raising two sons and a daughter and she is a lovely Christian young woman who is educated as a teacher as well. Praise the Lord for the gift of life and keep up the great work you are doing to save more of our citizens!

Although annoying, I don’t think the protesters achieved anything. I am just sad that they are okay with the fact that because of their values I am asked by my 11 year old’s pediatrician if she needs the shot preventing genital warts. I said no and she continued that it would be wise by the time she is 14 to get it. Like dogs who can’t control themselves is what those protesters think of my children and their own.

You missed the point David. There is a way to present your argument that respectfully disagrees with opposition. Shouting them down and making personal attacks does not educate or inform.
I did not miss the point, Megan. Victoria takes positions that are volatile for a lot of people and incite anger. She can’t then complain about angry and volatile behavior. She needs to be prepared for battle, or she is in the wrong line of work.

If anyone who is pro-life, pro-family, or conservative, attempted something like this at a liberal event, that person would have been silenced, removed, and it would not have been tolerated. My guess is that the reason these who were shouting don’t want to hear what you have to say is because they really don’t want to know the truth. They want to live the way they choose and have someone else pay for their immoral choices. Keep up the good work!

Protesting is fine, but needs to be done respectfully. No speaker should be shouted down, and protesters should not interfere with the functioning of the event.
That the leftists tried to shout you down shows just how uncouth and desperate they are. They know that more and more Americans are coming to realize that true pro-family values are at the heart of American freedom.

I recently read from our library, the book, Rules for Radicals by Saul D. Alinsky, and this sounds so much like some of the left’s tactics. Their first rule of power tactics is “Power is not only what you have but what the enemy thinks you have.” One of their rules is: “Wherever possible go outside of the experience of the enemy. Here you want to cause confusion, fear, and retreat.” I believe that their most successful tactic is: “Ridicule is man’s most potent weapon.” One of their principles is that the ends justifies the means–which, in my opinion, is rather scary. Sadly, our president and Hillary Clinton were influenced by Alinsky’s teachings, and many on the left have embraced these techniques to silence conservatives.
I am sorry that parents, teachers, ministers and others who come in contact with youth are not teaching them respect, expecially when a person is speaking to them. Obviously, the mob came not to hear you but to discourage you and interrupt you speach. Thanks for staying with the message. We will pray for you that the Lord will open many doors for you.

Buy a bigger amp and more speakers. Those who claim to be tolerant are only tolerent when you agree with them. Those who claim a concern about the lack of civility are the least civil. Many in our society are totally and absolutely self centered, all about self to a point that they are not able to rationally discuss without shouting down any opposing view. They do not want openness, they want total control of thought. We have abandoned all sense of morality, values and especailly God when we behave as these activists. There is NO right or wrong for these people.

Good for you!!! You’re a tough gal with tough skin. It’s pretty tough standing in front of a crowd of screaming protestors:) The problem with social control is that people feel threatened with other ideas and perspectives. I actually feel sorry for them. They support the murder of unborn children. They are on the wrong side of the issue and with this comes a spirit of fear.
I, myself, was in a similar situation in Charlottesville, in an auditorium of people screaming at me (and at others who supported the right of the unborn)! The case was “Townsend versus Planned Parenthood” way back in 2004. Marnie Deaton can tell you all about this case:) We still have a law suit against Planned Parenthood and the county of Albemarle (on Hydraulic road)-but it’s stalemated with the Judge’s decision. For all those who read this, please keep this lawsuit in your prayers:) Mike Sharman has done the work -pro bono.

Great job! Ms. Cobb didn’t let them fluster her and just kept on speaking the truth. The “tolerant left” continues to show that they are only tolerant with those who believe as they do and if you disagree, they will bully, harass and name call to intimidate people who stand up for morals. However, if we cave into their bullying, they win and our children’s generation lose. We have to get active and speak out for truth. Thank you for showing us the way!

Suggestion: Never have an introduction in an outside public arena that includes someone reading your vitae….in this case, it’s not important….
Mrs. Cobb, I support your platform totally, but if you want people to be able to hear you over a microphone where there are no acoustical dimensions…lower the pitch of your speaking voice and speak extemporaneously. Your message is an important one…..have someone record your next speech and you’ll see what I mean….a voice coach would make all the difference in the world in helping women modulate their speaking range when talking to a large crowd….

Unfortunately, the video is not shocking. It is routine for liberals to try to suppress dissenting points of view through shouting and more. Their arguments cannot be substantiated through logic. Therefore, they must always resort to strong arm tactics to make their point.
I couldn’t help but notice a sign held by one of the liberal mob, “Jesus was a liberal.” Do these people really believe that Jesus would have condoned abortion? I pity their twisted minds and lost souls.
I wish I had known about this so I could have attended in person. I agree completely, especially as someone who works in medical imaging, that women should make an informed decision. In what other area do we surrender our authority and blindly say we don’t need to make an informed decision? None that I’m aware of. I support and appreciate your efforts. I would love to participate in future endeavors.

Against sexual promiscuity and divorce? Why aren’t pastors marshaling their congregations to fast and pray and repent so that we might avert the devastation that is racing toward our nation? Why are ministers not warning our nation to “flee from the wrath to come?” Why do we submit, Sunday after Sunday, to preaching that tickles our ears and quiets our consciences?
