2012 Virginia Voter Guides Are Here!

By

October 3, 2012

The Family Foundation today released our 2012 Presidential and U.S. Senate Voter Guide at vavotes.net.

The Voter Guide helps voters cut through the political spin and give you the facts on the candidates. The Guide is co-sponsored by Focus on the Family and the Family Research Council.

Candidates for office were sent a candidate survey.  If a survey was not returned by the candidate, their voting record and public statements were used to indicate their position on values issues.

Voter Guides will also be available at The Family Foundation Action field offices and at our Gala this Saturday.  Be sure to order enough to distribute, with your church leadership’s approval, in your church between now and Election Day!

Along with information on candidates on vavotes.net you can also access:

  • Voter Registration information and forms.
  • Absentee voter information.
  • Your voting location.
  • An online order form to order voter registration kits!

Scorecards! Wow, there are many types of scorecards.

Jesus had some words about how to ‘score’ leaders.

    JESUS said:

“Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it.”

JESUS in the Christian Bible (not the book of Mormon, the Wiccan Bible, Ayn Rand, etc) clearly makes the case that ‘it is harder for the rich (with all their selfish pursuits and arrogant or ignorant disregard for others) to enter God’s Heaven than for a rope (poorly translated as ‘camel’) to go through the eye of a needle’.

AND, JESUS in the Christian Bible (not the Book of Mormon, the Wiccan Bible, Ayn Rand, etc) clearly states that ‘those who ignore the weak, the sick, the imprisoned, the vulnerable, to ‘strangers in the land’ have ignored JESUS – God God-self.

AND, JESUS in the Christian Bible (not the Book of Mormon, the Wiccan Bible, Ayn Rand, etc) clearly states that at God’s Judgement, those who followed Jesus – in faith, in humility, in service to the weak, the sick, the imprisoned, the vulnerable, to ‘strangers in the land’ – will continue with God, and those who did not will experience HELL.

    Correct? True?
