Will You And Your Pastor Stop At Mere Words?

By

July 10, 2013

As you are well aware, we — the Christian Community — find ourselves amidst a siege of moral depravity; our commonwealth and our nation teeter at the crossroads of Christian American values and leftist ideology. Now is the time to take up your crook against the wolves and defend the flock.

In Matthew 5:14-16, Jesus told us we were the “light of the world” and then decreed it was our duty to let that light “shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.” John Stonestreet, Speaker and Fellow of the Chuck Colson Center for Christian Worldview, embraces God’s Word, challenging the mode of contemporary Christian escapism when we are in fact called to walk with Jesus out into society.

On Tuesday, August 27, in Lynchburg, and Wednesday, August 28, in Richmond, Mr. Stonestreet will lead pastors from the commonwealth in an imperative discussion on current events and life issues from a Biblical worldview. You need your church to be represented at the 2013 Regional Pastor Forums. Please tell your pastors and ministry leaders about this event that is exclusively for them!

The Lynchburg event will be held at the James River Conference Center (400 Court Street). The Richmond event will be at the 24th floor dining room of the SunTrust Center (919 East Main Street). Both events will begin check-in at 7:30 a.m. with the program and complimentary southern-style breakfast at 8:00.

If you are a pastor, we look forward to your attendance and meeting you. If you are not a pastor, please extend this invitation to your pastor and encourage him to be a part of this important event.

Attendance is completely free for pastors, but we do ask you to encourage registration in advance so we can provide the best experience possible. Additionally, for those pastors wishing to attend the Richmond Regional Pastor Forum, free on-site parking will be offered to those registered by Wednesday, August 7.

Pastors can register here, at the Regional Pastor Forum page of The Family Foundation website. Please contact David Moxley at 804.343.0010 or by e-mail (david@familyfoundation.org) with any questions or for assistance registering.
