In her role as Policy Analyst, Jessica Cochrane joins the government relations and policy department in providing comprehensive public policy research, writing, and advocacy. Additionally, Jessica oversees The Family Foundation’s internship program and assists with the organization’s graphic design and social media needs. Jessica joined the full time staff at The Family Foundation in the summer of 2008 following two internships with various departments within The Family Foundation.
Born in the northeastern part of New Jersey, Jessica migrated south as soon as possible and has remained here ever since. Jessica earned her undergraduate degrees from the College of William and Mary, graduating with a double major in Public Policy and Economics. She is a member of Third Presbyterian Church in Richmond, VA where she is involved with the high school youth group. Jessica enjoys renovating her previously foreclosed home and has become good friends with the local hardware store due to her “trial and error” method of learning the art of homeownership. Jessica put The Family Foundation’s second principle into practice in September of 2011 when she married Robert Cochrane of Greensboro, North Carolina. Jessica and Robert reside in Richmond with their cat named “Kitty.”
