Action Alert: Major Pastor Event in Virginia

Monday, July 21, 2008
Isaiah 62:6 calls on pastors to be Watchman on your walls, never being silent and always speaking truth. As our culture continues to spin out of control, unfortunately, too often our church leaders have failed to fulfill this important command.
But no more. The church is waking, and pastors are reclaiming their voice!
To educate, encourage and motivate ministers to once again take their post on the wall, The Family Foundation of Virginia is thrilled to announce that we have partnered with Family Research Council to host a regional Watchman on the Wall Pastors Issue Summit September 22nd and 23rd in Williamsburg.
This complimentary issues briefing is specifically for pastors. Confirmed and invited speakers include FRC President Tony Perkins, Attorney General Bob McDonnell, Congressman Eric Cantor, Pastor Jonathan Falwell, Bishop Harry Jackson and more!
An optional Spiritual Heritage Tour of Colonial Williamsburg, led by Stephen McDowell of the Providence Foundation, will kick-off the briefing on Monday evening, September 22nd. This will be a wonderful opportunity to hear the true history of one of our Commonwealths most historical sights, and the birthplace of Virginias government.
The program on Tuesday, September 23rd will be full of exciting speakers, opportunities to connect with other pastors and ministers from around Virginia, informative sessions on issues currently facing the church and the Commonwealth, and information about the Constitutional freedoms of pastors.
The briefing will be held at the Williamsburg Marriott.
For more information and to register, pastors can call 1-800-225-4008 or go to www.watchmenevents.org.
If you are a pastor or minister, I urge you to register today! If you are not a pastor, please download the save the date card available here and take it to your pastor and urge them to attend!
