Don’t Overlook School Boards on Nov. 5th!
This coming Tuesday (Nov. 5), you will not only be choosing your next Delegate and state Senator, but you’ll also be voting on local officers and potentially local referendums – including the critically important school board members, who will decide things such as whether to allow boys to use girls’ bathrooms, locker rooms, and showers (as Fairfax, Loudoun, Prince William, and Stafford counties recently did).
While this election is critical for determining which ideological worldview holds the majority in the state legislature, it would be a huge mistake to overlook your local government contests and referendums, which can often have the biggest impacts on your community.
We don’t want you to be caught off guard about how you’ll vote for races like School Board and Commonwealth’s Attorney. (NOTE: In Virginia, candidates for local offices DO NOT have their political party affiliation beside their name.) CLICK HERE to download the Excel spreadsheets from the Virginia Department of Elections website with the full list of candidates and referendums for your county or city so that you can research the candidates and know who to vote for on your ballot.
Recently, we’ve told you how Marxist George Soros and his Super Pac are pouring millions into Virginia legislative races in an effort to secure pro-abortion majorities in the House and the Senate, and make “Kathy Tran Abortion” an unfortunate reality next year. But George Soros is also pumping millions of dollars into local races in support of radical candidates.
It is well known that Soros has meddled in at least three local contests in Virginia this year - the Arlington County Commonwealth Attorney, the Fairfax County Commonwealth Attorney and the Fairfax County School Board – having spent a million dollars in those elections alone.
Why all this interest in local elections in Virginia and elsewhere? Because he knows that if he can further corrupt our local governments, especially School Boards, with radical left-wing ideology, then he can undermine the conservative values this country was built on.
But we have the chance to stand up to these extremist forces who seek to impose their radical values on us this Tuesday, November 5th by voting for candidates who support parental rights, religious liberty, and traditional American family values. Do what you can to be informed when you go to vote for all your candidates, including local candidates, this Tuesday!
