Urgent - California is Coming for VA Kids!

California lawmakers have just passed a disturbing bill (SB 107) that would effectively create a “gender transition” sanctuary for any young boy or girl, indoctrinated by radical gender ideology, to receive state-funded transgender drugs and surgeries. Governor Gavin Newsome could sign the bill any day!

Not only is this bill dangerous for parents living in California, but it could potentially impact parents in every other state – including Virginia.  If this bill becomes law, a minor in Virginia could flee from their home and go to California to receive transgender procedures with court protection – all without parental consent.

Worse yet, the law would offer gender transition procedures (drugs, surgeries, and mental care) to any child who is taken from their parents by someone seeking to help the child access these kinds of services without parental notice or consent.   

According to our friends at the California Family Council working hard to oppose this outrageous bill: 

“Senator Scott Wiener’s bill, SB 107, would empower California courts to take ‘temporary emergency jurisdiction’ of children if they come to California for trans-drugs, surgery, or mental healthcare. The bill calls these treatments ‘gender-affirming care.’  Courts would also be instructed to ignore the fact that a child has been kidnapped from the parent or parents with legal custody, if the minor comes to the state for gender transitioning.”

While we’ve become accustomed to the liberal progressive legislators in California imposing their radical, anti-family policies on parents within that state, this bill seeks to impose their policies and beliefs on every parent – and child struggling with gender confusion – in the country to the point of condoning kidnapping of kids for the purpose of providing life-altering gender transition procedures. 

Unfortunately, time isn’t on our side as Governor Newsome could sign this any day.  That’s why instead of just emailing Governor Newsome, we are also asking you to call him at (916) 445-2841 and urge him to veto this bill.
