Who’s Really the Confused Ones?
Apparently President Biden believes Dr. Seuss books are no longer appropriate for children to read, but permitting minors to receive hormone replacement treatments and mutilate their developing bodies – according to Biden and his pick for Assistant Secretary of the U.S. Dept. of Health and Human Services, Dr. Rachel Levine - is completely healthy for children.
In case you weren’t aware, Dr. Rachel Levine (formerly Richard Levine) is a man pretending to be a woman, and out of all the qualified candidates available in the United States, he is President Biden’s pick to become the second in command at HHS.
The Biden Administration purposefully excluded Dr. Seuss books from the “Read Across America” in response to the “cancel culture” mob which believes certain books are just too racist or hurtful for any young child to read. This was followed by Dr. Seuss Enterprises’ announcement that it stopped publishing six of the famous author’s books because they are considered by some groups to contain “racist and insensitive imagery.” Books that will no longer be published include “And to Think That I Saw It on Mulberry Street,” “If I Ran the Zoo,” “McElligot’s Pool,” “On Beyond Zebra!,” “Scrambled Eggs Super!,” and “The Cat’s Quizzer.”
"Dr. Levine, you have supported both allowing minors to be given hormone blockers to prevent them from going through puberty, as well as surgical destruction of a minor's genitalia. Like surgical mutilation, hormonal interruption of puberty can permanently alter and prevent secondary sexual characteristics…Do you believe that minors are capable of making such a life-changing decision as changing one's sex? "
Dr. Levine never disputed what Senator Paul said and only regurgitated canned comments like this is a "very complex and nuanced field" and how he could talk about the "particulars" with Senator Paul if he was confirmed.
Here in Virginia, the Department of Education is requiring every single public school to adopt a policy that essentially mandates the promotion of gender confusion (or “transgenderism”) to school kids – including kindergarteners. The intent is to force this radical thinking into every operational part of the school—including the general education curriculum, such as history, literature and science. Worse, they encourage schools to avoid sharing information about a child’s gender confusion to their own parents!
So, to review, according to the radical left:
Reading Dr. Seuss books are bad for society now, BUT teaching a kindergartner about transgenderism is considered good for society.
Allowing a child to read a Dr. Seuss book is harmful, BUT allowing that child to receive puberty blockers and mutilate their developing body is perfectly healthy.
Letting parents read Dr. Seuss books to their children and then having conversations with them about being respectful towards others is ill-advised, BUT a school withholding information about a child’s gender confusion from their parents is necessary.
Got it. That makes perfect sense.
