Title IX - New and Not Improved
Title IX was originally intended to protect women
Title IX protects students from discrimination based on their sex., race, etc. especially when it comes to protecting equal opportunities for female students in sports.
The new Title IX rules violate women's privacy & safety
Biden’s rewrote Title IX, changing the meaning of “sex” to include “gender identity”
Any man identifying as a woman can therefore use women’s locker rooms and bathrooms.
In no way are women protected if they are forced to share private spaces with men.
Women’s dorms, athletic programs, and scholarships are also in jeopardy if deemed discriminatory under Biden’s rewrite.
The new Title IX rules violate conscience rights
Under Biden’s rewrite of the Title IX regulations, students and teachers could be punished if they use the wrong pronouns or refuse to use the language and speech compelled by a school system.
Even if a federally funded school refuses to enforce the new Title IX regulations, their federal funding could be revoked, endangering scholarships or lunch programs for impoverished students.
The problems stem from the words "gender identity"
By redefining the word “sex” to include “gender identity” the Biden administration twists Title IX into an ideological weapon and forces transgenderism onto every taxpayer funded school.
The current revisions now prohibit discrimination against gender identity in any “education program or activity.”
