Intern Spotlight: Titus Prude!

This summer, we are excited to have five interns working with us in policy, law, grassroots, and intercessory prayer. Since their start date on June 1st, they have already contributed valuable work that advances the mission of The Family Foundation. In addition to their normal responsibilities, they also participate in our weekly EQUIP Worldview Program for high school seniors and college-age students. Today, we’d like you to meet Titus!

Titus Prude joins The Family Foundation this summer as a policy intern. He hails from Paducah, Kentucky, where he was born and raised. Paducah is the quilt capital of the world and the birthplace of Steven Curtis Chapman.

Titus recently graduated from Bryan College, located in Tennessee, with a major in Politics and Government and a minor in Biblical Studies. Now, he is pursuing a Masters in Christian Leadership. While on campus, he was a leader for Students Stopping the Trafficking of People (SSTOP) and he served as a member of the AEI council. He was also on Bryan’s JV soccer team and played various intermural sports. What led him to intern with The Family Foundation was his interest in non-profits and public policy.

Titus is known around the office for his thoughtfulness and love of personality tests. If you’ve met Titus, there’s a good chance that he has already inferred your number on the enneagram. At any given moment, you will find him dressed in a cardigan, mug in hand. Titus enjoys a good cup of coffee or tea, a vanilla latte being his favorite. Every day at around 2 pm, the other interns will hear him exclaim, “Tea time!” and then proceed to make his afternoon cup of tea.

Outside of work, Titus enjoys watching Parks & Rec., thrift shopping, and exploring graveyards. He also enjoys trying new foods. Already, he has gotten a few of the other interns to branch out and try food from a nearby Indian restaurant.

After the internship, Titus hopes to get involved in a political campaign or work for a conservative non-profit. He is a champion of Constitutional rights for all people. Titus believes in the sanctity of all human life, and this is demonstrated through his commitment to fighting abortion, human trafficking, and helping refugees.

Titus’s favorite verse is 2 Timothy 1:7, “For God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self-discipline.”
