Object to the LGBTQ+ Agenda, Go To The Closet!

Everywhere you turn, horrible school policies are besieging parents of public school students, and it hurts my heart to tell you that progressives are preparing to unleash even more radical school indoctrination on every K-12 public school student.

NARAL Pro-Choice Virginia, which already continuously advertises abortion coverage to young girls, is now advocating for an overhaul of Virginia’s Family Life Education (i.e., Sex Education) to include “LGBTQIA+” curriculum and force every student to embrace their hyper-sexualized values.

Not only that, but if you are a parent who legally opts your child out of any Sex Education or LGBTQ+ lessons, and you live in Loudoun County, your child could be placed in a closet-sized room!  A middle school student, whose parents asked that he not participate in “transgender-themed” lessons that teach that a male can identify as a female and visa-versa because it conflicts with their religious beliefs, was relegated to a tiny room by himself with no alternate lessons.

A spokesperson for the school said that it was a "classroom" where students are often sent when they’re opted out of a lesson, but a video recorded by the student tells a different story.  The room is clearly very small with room for only one or two desks, and it’s hard not to get the impression that it acts almost as a form of punishment.

Parents opted-out the child from what’s referred to as "advisory learning" classes, which for “Pride Month” (June), included being shown a video of a teacher explaining “preferred pronoun” usage.  In the video, the teacher offers this outrageous statement: "When someone shares their pronouns with you, we’re sharing our name. We’re sharing who we are, our identity. And that’s a form of trust. So when you use the pronouns that I have shared with you, it shows that you like me, and you trust me, and you’re being kind and using my pronouns, which are they/them."

The message conveyed to young students by this teacher, and by extension Loudoun County Public Schools, is if you refuse to use a student’s preferred pronouns (which could be made-up words and/or grammatically incorrect, not to mention biologically untrue) because they conflict with your core convictions, you are not a nice person.

While NARAL and other “LGBTQIA+” advocates complain about stigmatizing students because of their “sexual orientation” or “gender identity” and push their radical agenda, schools are stigmatizing students of parents who object to these lessons by placing them in a closet-sized room or painted as a mean person.

Virginia public schools are in trouble, and it will take strong leadership in the legislative and executive branches to change the trajectory we are currently on.  November 2, 2021 is Virginia’s next chance to do just that.  If you have not registered to vote already, you can register to vote HERE.
