Video: Jim Daly and 'Mama Bear' Laura Murphy

We were honored to host a couple of our favorite people for lunch recently: Laura Murphy, our “mama bear” extraordinaire from Fairfax County and Jim Daly, president of Focus on the Family. Victoria had the opportunity to interview both of them after the lunch.

Laura talked about where she derived the strength and support she needed to take her challenge of sexually explicit materials in her child’s school from her local school board all the way to the General Assembly. Jim addressed how the parental rights movement launched here in Virginia and amplified by The Family Foundation has “lit a fire across the United States.”
